| Description |
Map database is the core of historical GIS. This session will invite major international teams or organization which involved map archiving, digitizing, and developing applications. The purpose of this session is to establish the basis of historical GIS via the collaboration of establishing international historical map database; meanwhile, the scope of the content and the applications of historical GIS can be broadened. |
