| Description |
PNC, PRDLA & ECAI have met in a common forum for three years. The goals and the membership of these organizations have substantial overlap. The organizations agreed to a common meeting because of these common interests. However, meetings to date have tended to focus on the nuts and bolts of meeting accomplishments rather than the search for any unifying theme. This session will set new goals for the organizations to strive for and share.
Speakers are to describe the ultimate goals of the organization they represent without concern for such details as budgetary restriction, lack of personnel, bureaucratic obstacles, lack of international agreements, language limitations, etc.. The operating instructions would be "Where would this organization be and what would it do if you were director and had unlimited power to accomplish your goals." The session is organized to provide substantial time for discussion following the presentations. |
