The second meeting of the team of scholars working on the Religious Atlas of China and the Himalayas project will be held at the ECAI conference in Hawaii. The agenda for the meeting will be to discuss the next step in the construction of the place names for Chinese sites. Also under discussion will be the work of inserting the place names into the China Historical GIS project at HarvardUniversity and FudanUniversity. We will deal with the problems of Daoist materials as well as those of Islamic and Jewish sites.
